Joined the Poehlmann Team in February, 2004
Shawn was born and raised in Greeley, Colorado. Shawn brings 16 years of construction experience with him to Poehlmann Construction. Shawn enjoys meeting new people in our community. He takes pride in the fact that he can share and receive from the groups of people around him. In his free time, Shawn enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He also enjoys drawing and painting.

 Barb Clem
Office Manager
Joined the Poehlmann Team in April, 2003.
Barb was born in Montana and was raised in Texas. Along with her family, she moved to Colorado in 2000. She brings over 20 years of experience with her to the Poehlmann office and has an Associates Degree in Business. Barb enjoys the day to day interaction with the customers as well as the crew. When she is not at her desk she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, reading, skiing, and being with friends.

Sean was born and raised in Fort Collins. He has over 5 years experience in the carpentry field. He enjoys the variety contained in the day-to-day job schedules. He enjoys fishing and hunting when away from the job.

 Kevin Cortese
Project Manager
Joined the Poehlmann Team in August, 2006.
Kevin was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Colorado. He received his Construction Management Degree from Colorado State University and brings 13 years of industry experience to the table.
He enjoys being by the client's side during the entire progression of a project while incorporating their hopes and desires to ultimately present them with their dream home. Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, playing golf, and working on his own home he designed and built.

 Mike Harper
Project Manager
Joined the Poehlmann Team in February, 2003.
Mike is a Colorado native, born and raised in Fort Collins. With over 8 years of carpentry experience, Mike is a great addition to the Poehlmann Crew. He enjoys working with his co-workers and the friendly, outgoing clients who are typically a pleasure to work with. He enjoys being employed by a company whose first priority is quality. Fishing, family time, hiking, snowboarding, and shooting sports are a few things Mike enjoys in his spare time.

Rhyan has been in the construction industry for over 8 years. He enjoys the variety of the job and being able to see the progress at the end of the day. While he is not at work, Rhyan enjoys camping in the summer and snowboarding in the winter months.

 Harry Poehlmann
Owner
Born and raised in Colorado, Harry has over 30 years experience in the construction industry. He enjoys the entire building process beginning with the initial client meeting all the way through to handing them the keys to their new dream space.
Harry is a licensed general contractor and is a certified Aging In Place Specialist. Being involved with the Home Builders Association, he has served on the board and chaired the 2004 Remodelor's Council. He was the Fort Collins Remodeler of the Year and received several Chrysalis awards for various projects. He was named Larimer County Builder of the Year and received the Taylor Award for outstanding communituy service. Harry is also a member of the Builder 20 program.
Harry enjoys waterskiing, snowskiing, diving, hunting and having fun with his wife, Aidah and their three boys.

 Aidah Poehlmann
Co-owner, Secretary, Treasurer
Born in Brooklyn, NY
Raised in Edmond, Oklahoma. Moved to Colorado in 1986.
For the homeowner, building can be an exciting time filled with anticipation. I enjoy seeing the homeowner’s satisfaction with their project as the project progresses and I’m pleased that in a sense, what we do brings our clients joy.
Hobbies: I enjoy exercising at my health club, road biking, travel, reading, music, volunteering in my childrens’ schools and spending time with my husband Harry, and our three sons.

Kevin brings over 8 years of industry experience to Poehlmann Construction. Kevin likes taking pride in his work by doing quality work for good customers. He was raised in Salem, Oregon and enjoys his Colorado lifestyle. In his spare time Kevin enjoys hockey, drums, hunting, and carpentry.
